Our
Story

Full Circle Psychotherapy began with a full circle moment of its own.

After the birth of my second child, I felt a shift - an urge to slow down, reconnect, and root more deeply in the community where my family was growing. I wanted my work to reflect the same groundedness I was seeking in my everyday life.

Having grown up in a small town myself, building a practice in this community felt like coming home - to the kind of place where people are seen, supported, and known. That feeling became the heart of Full Circle Psychotherapy.

Here, we help clients come back to themselves. Whether it’s through the space we’ve created or the work we do together, our hope is that you feel a sense of belonging, safety, and reconnection, like you’re finding your way back to you.

And in a beautiful twist of fate, our office space was once home to the wonderful local midwives, the very team who supported me through both of my pregnancies, labours, and postpartum journeys. My office is actually the room where I first heard my daughter’s heartbeat.

We like to think of it as a space where healing and beginnings have always lived.

Our Therapy Team

Let’s be real, finding the right therapist can feel like hunting for a golden unicorn.

You want someone you connect with. Someone who gets it. Someone with the right training and experience for your needs—and who actually has space in their calendar. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or the rollercoaster of the perinatal and postpartum journey, we know the search can be overwhelming.

That’s why we’re making it simple.

Each therapist bio gives you a feel for who they are, what they specialize in, and includes a link to book a free 15-minute consult. It’s like speed dating, but for therapy, and way less awkward.

Still not sure who might be the best fit? You can always book a consult with our founder, Samantha. She’ll help you sort through the options and find the right match.

And here’s the best part: if we’re not the right fit, we’ll help you find someone who is.

Available for in-person therapy in Fergus and virtually across Ontario

A cozy place to land in Centre Wellington.

Our office is tucked beside the Grand River in downtown Fergus. It’s quiet, full of natural light, and designed to feel like a soft place to land, whether you’re arriving solo, postpartum, as a couple or with baby in tow.

We’ve thoughtfully created a space where comfort, safety, and real life are always welcome. Sweats, PJs, milk-stained shirts? Bring it. You are enough, exactly as you are.

Whether you’re settling in for in-person care or joining us online, our goal is the same: to help you feel grounded and supported from the moment you begin.

Is the space accessible? Yes - the building, office and bathroom are all wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring my baby? Please do! We are equipped with a play yard, bouncer, private bathroom with a change table and quiet nursing/feeding area.
Virtual sessions are also always available if staying home feels easier. Please feel free to tend to your baby as needed throughout our session.

How do virtual sessions work? 30 minutes before your session, you will be e-mailed a link to your virtual appointment. We use PHIPA-compliant Jane software. It is recommended that you set up for your session in a comfortable and private space.

What if I don't like my therapist? We hope this doesn't happen - but are here to support you if it does. If for any reason you're not happy with the fit or care you are receiving - we'd be happy to find someone that is going to better match your goals (even if it's not us). E-mail us at hello@fullcirclepsychotherapy.ca

Is there free parking? Yes! There is free parking in the municipal lots at the rear of the building and across the footbridge, as well as surrounding street parking. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes to ensure you can find parking, as space can be limited.

What do I do when I get there? Remove any wet/dirty footwear and take a seat in the front waiting area. Your therapist will come out to greet you at your scheduled appointment time. What other 'comfort measures' do you have available? With comfort in mind, you'll have access to our tea bar and light refreshments (all pregnancy approved), lending library, fidget toys, weighted blankets and cozy atmosphere. We are always taking suggestions if there is anything else that you would like to see added!

How do I know if my therapist is the right fit? Number one priority is that you feel comfortable (minus some nerves, which are natural when starting therapy). Next you'll want to ensure that they have experience and qualifications working with your needs and goals. A free 15 minute consult is a great way to get to know your potential therapist before booking a first session.

What if I'm nervous for my first session? Completely normal, and totally human. Most clients feel some level of nervousness or anxiety coming in for the first time, That's okay! It's our job to help you feel comfortable and we promise, we're human too!

Because everything comes full circle.
